We aim for getting your knives back to you within 24 hours. During busy times it may take up to 3 days. We will do our best to get them back to you in a timely matter, however we always prioritize quality of work over speed.

We like to stay within a 30 minute drive of the shop. This would include most of Washington and Frederick county MD. Exceptions can be made for large orders though so feel free to call and communicate your need.

Wherever you prefer! Just let us know, we can come to your house, business, or even some other meeting point. we want to do what’s easiest for you.

That’s an understandable concern. Unlike some other companies, we do not use high speed grinders that can easily damage and overheat your blade(ruining the temper). Our methods take a little longer, but you can rest assured that your knives, scissors or other blades, will return to you in better shape than when you gave them to us.

It depends greatly on how much use the knife gets, some chefs and cooks need their knife sharpened weekly! Your average home cook will need their knives sharpened every 6 months, if they are maintaining their edge on a ceramic honing rod between services.
